The legacy of Railway H.S. School Alipurduar junction started in the year 1953. A few years after the country’s independence, the necessity for an educational institution was sincerely felt by some academic enthusiasists of this locality. The first batch of matriculation set the ball rolling in the year 1956. Increasing demand led the Railway authority to open separate school for girls and the schools kept on providing quality education to the children of the vicinity under WBBSE and WBCHSE. But changing academic scenario and farsightedness of railway officers and academicians guided the school to shift and enroll itself under CBSE on 1ST April, 2016.
The first batch of secondary and senior secondary students successfully passed board examination in the year 2019. We promise to carry on the rich heritage which we have been nurturing for the last 67 years and assure to take the institution to the zenith of fame.
